"Come on, do not be afraid. It is ok; I promise nothing is gonna happen to you. Please, step outside. Honey? Please, it is ok. The world isn't that bad. It is not gonna treat you badly. Things are gonna be just fine. Trust me. Come on...
But you are not coming, are you? Yeah, I bet you are not. You don't trust me, my word. You don't trust this beautiful world that is surrounding you. Oh, I'd do anything if you just tried to move your feet. Are you sure? Really? Please, I beg you..."
As she said that, she stood still, feet in the green grass, yellow dress blowing with the cold wind. Her smile was just fading away with her hopes, and maybe a tear was coming down from her eyes. They were blue, like the tear.
The man inside was staring at her. He could not understand why she cared about him. They barely knew each other. They barely knew why they were there – together. A long time ago he would think about stepping outside. Maybe he would even consider... For her.
But why would he right now? Why was she there, anyway? That thought bothered him, made him feel sick or something. He closed his eyes and waited, hoping that, when he opened those tired eyes again, she would be gone.
But there was she, still.
"I'm not going anywhere, you know".
"Why are you doing this?".
"I just can't go".
"Oh..." - 'Damn it!', he thought.
"Are you sure you're gonna stand inside?"
"Are you sure you're gonna stand on the wet grass?"
"Hell yes!"
"So do I, then".
She stared at him; gave him that look.
"I loved you, you know that?"
"Guess so... But why do you care now? Do you still love me?"
"No, I don't. Actually, I almost hate you for everything".
"And still... You are here"
"Yeah"
"That's not logical".
"I know"
"Why are you here?" - he was losing his patience.
"I just... Care, that's all".
"Go away, please. There is no time for us anymore".
The sun was setting his tired legs. It just wanted the night to come and replace him.
"I won't go."
"Why are you doing this to me? To yourself? I don't want you, for Christ's sake!"
"Can’t you see? I gave you something you'll never get riddle off, and so did you".
"If I knew you would be by my side after I wanted you far from me..."
"Yeah, yeah, I know... But you have already crossed the point of turning back".
The beautiful rouge shine colored the sky. She was so damn beautiful. Why would he want that beautiful girl to be far away? He didn't know, but his skin was turning red and angry tears were cropping up from his eyes. Hell, he really wanted her to vanish.
"You really want me to go?"
"Yeah!"
"All right then. Happy? You won. "
As she said so, she turned her back on him, and started walking away. He felt really sick right then.
"Wait..."
She turned her head. Her blue eyes were the most beautiful thing anyone could ever see.
"What?"
"It's a strange feeling, but... I don't know if I want you to walk away..."
"I'm not walking away, silly man".
"No?"
"Course not! I just said I can't, didn’t I?"
"Oh... So, where are you going?"
"Don't worry. I'll be back soon, just in a blink of an eye".
"But..."
And she was gone, between trees and grass, in a green and big painting. He blinked. And there was him, staring at himself in a dirty window.
"Looking the garden?"
The voice surprised the man. Woman's voice.
"Talking with her again?"
"Y... Yeah"
"Sure... It’s ok now. Come with me, will you?"
A small woman, dressed all-white, was waiting for him. She had her hair in a ponytail, and was wearing very heavy makeup.
"Where are we going, miss?"
"Take your pills, you silly".
She smiled, as they walked on their all-white clothes, trough an all-white hall, that he barely knew where was it leading him. He blinked again, and waited just to see the girl of blue eyes on the yellow dress coming back on her bare feet.
